About my work
My current prints
are influenced by my travels around the world and by my own environment
in Edinburgh.
I
have taken my inspiration from the colours, architecture, landscapes and
symbols
that have influenced me on my journeys and at home in my day-to-day life.
My prints containing icon
like elements from trees to letters these elements relate to my interest
in Russian Egyptian and
Italian iconography. which I like to incorporate into my imagery.
A
collagraph Print is based on the art of collage, I recycle paper and materials
together to build up an image
on a piece of card. Once the image is complete I intaglio print my card
plate to reproduce my collage
onto paper forming my print.
